1. Get to the office as early as you can. To me, that ideally is a few hours before most people start working.
2. Have a special routine for the office that morning. While on vacation maybe you spend more time outdoors on a regular basis .So when you go to the office, try to take some outdoors time.
3. Don’t schedule any out-of-the-office meetings on your first day back. The piles of paperwork and unanswered emails, as well as spending time with your team, will keep you busy. Adding outside meetings will add more stress than it is worth.
4. Schedule Something Fun After Work. The first day back can feel like a slog. Plan something you genuinely enjoy for that first post-work evening—even if it’s just watching a favorite TV show, so you have something to look forward to. It’s not quite as good as a vacation, but it’s not a bad way to end the day, either.
The first day back from vacation is the hardest, just enjoy your first day :)
